Background and Supporting Documents

Methodology

There are three documents available here that constitute the working methodology. These documents were used in stakeholder outreach to certifiers, land owner/managers and others in Phase II of the review in order to initiate the Preliminary Assessments. Appendix A is a set of instructions for participants and Appendix B is a set of explanatory materials to better elucidate our protocol and intention.

Stakeholder Outreach

Stakeholder outreach was conducted to gather feedback from certifiers, landowners and other stakeholders for the Preliminary Assessment. The feedback was compiled by Principle and Criterion in a “Stakeholder Feedback Compiled” document (available on request). Documentation of this process and the list of people that were contacted are also available on request.

Subject Matter Expert Outreach

Subject matter experts were engaged to review the preliminary assessments of the SRP. The list of the participating subject matter experts is available here. The responses of subject matter experts is available on request.

Standards Comparison Documents

The Standards Comparison Documents are organized by region, with the National Indicators arranged by Principle and Criterion. Within each Criterion, Indicators are arranged thematically to facilitate comparison across regions. These documents were instrumental for the Preliminary Assessments and may facilitate further inter-regional assessments in a revision process.
